New ZealanD

New Zealand is a country in the south-western Pacific Ocean comprising two large islands (the North Island and the South Island) and numerous smaller islands, most notably Stewart Island/Rakiura and the Chatham Islands. The indigenous Māori named New Zealand Aotearoa, which is usually translated into English as The Land of the Long White Cloud. The Realm of New Zealand also includes the Cook Islands and Niue, which are self-governing but in free association; Tokelau; and the Ross Dependency (New Zealand's territorial claim in Antarctica).

New Zealand is notable for its geographic isolation, being separated from Australia to the northwest by the Tasman Sea, approximately 2000 kilometres (1250 miles) across. Its closest neighbours to the north are New Caledonia, Fiji and Tonga.

The population is mostly of European descent, with the indigenous Māori being the largest minority. Asians and non-Maori Polynesians are also significant minorities, especially in the cities. Elizabeth II, as the Queen of New Zealand, is the Head of State and, in her absence, is represented by a non-partisan Governor-General. The Queen 'reigns but does not rule.' She has no real political influence, and her position is largely symbolic.^[2] Political power is held by the democratically-elected Parliament of New Zealand under the leadership of the Prime Minister, who is the Head of Government. (Wikipedia, 2007).

Our route went like this:- Bru-Brisbane-Auckland-Rotorua-Taupo-
Wellington-Christchurch-Dunedin-Queenstown-Wanaka-
Christchurch-Auckland-Brisbane- BRUNEI!!!!


16 days of enjoyment, Chyi's 16 days of exhaustion for being a 'tour guide', Chyi's more-than-16 days of planning and research for her family members, and more! GREAT Memories!


Let's begin our journey! (Sorry for the lack of descriptions or photos, I ve tried my best uploading as many as I could). It takes time though.

This is on the way to somewhere. HAHA, forgotten. Probably Wellington.
Anyways, we got the chance to first see the sheeps during a tea break. First time to experience this:- Smell sheeps' dung, touch their wool, and see all those wools floating in the wind. I suppose my mom loves those sheeps! See how she smiled!

My sis and I were deeply 'attracted' too. This cute little baby sheep (what's the exact word for it?) came to us, such a friendly one.

Beside us is Lake Taupo, sometimes Chyi loves me lots. HAHAHAHAAA

Don wan this trip to end so fast, it's really cool.

But I guess Chyi(my elder sis)'s gona b real exhausted when we r back (cos she's our tour guide, she booked all the accommodation earlier, did research of the places and everything) Btw, but guess not though, cos she's still gona cnue 'playing' in Spore and Taiwan with her groups of friends.

wana go play wif frens overseas too in the future.

Not too tired (still) right now, stil got loads of energy to continue walking around here.

I'm inhaling fresher air than most of u rite now. WAAkaka....so....( so what?) Duh~ haha

Btw, i miss Brunei too, n most importantly, I'm worried for my SAM results, wana AMITABHA again. =)

In South Island now

Moving into 'kampung' area

hahas, days before i was in Auckland,
it wasn't the new zealand i was expecting,
as it's so much like Spore, just like how my sis described it.

Yesterday we were jumping around in Rotorua,
today in Taupo, just a approximately 2 hours bus ride to this part of nz.

Sheeps r baaaa-ing n cows r moo-ing along the road.
nice green green grass, beautiful view n nice drivers+ppl i ve met.

In Rotorua (yesterday), I ve get to know the Pool Operation manager of Polynesian Spa(top ten spa in the world).
Was super happy cos of this small matter,
that's, we got a coffee treat from the manager n had a nice talk with him.
he's actually from Christchurch n has been working in the place for one yr.
We told him we r from Brunei, later on then we know he has a friend in Brunei who's the principal of International school! ( not sure JIS or ISB), cool isn't?
THE WORLD IS SMALL.

Btw,
find that he's seriously a kind+ gentle old man, he even left us his email to stay in touch wif him,
nice of him, really=)
Was kinda nervous initially (while talking to him),
as my elder sis is not with me, n i can't really catch their accent.
Lucky enough, his is quite okay, n understandable. phew~~

Felt sorry to keep him waiting for us at the exit door to give us the coffee voucher,
really lucky to meet such a friendly guy,
I was thinking we caught his attention cos we r one of the few teenagers in the spa,
all the others r korean obasang n some English ppl...hahas=)

At the same time, when we were nearby the exit door, an indian was standing there waiting for us too.
He was in the same pool with me n my sis.
He just simply wanted to make friends with us though.
n I had received his email today,
gosh, he's duin things fast. =)

okay, think dat's al for today,

From the day I got back to home,
I ve been running here and there non-stop.

First five days in Brunei,
kept meeting up with friends.
(2nd day to Miri)
then the sixth day, to Miri again, to take the bus to Kuching
so yeah...I'm now in Kuching,
using my small ee's little Twinhead laptop to on9 in her condo.
first visit here,
it's quite a wonderful place to stay in.

Going back tomoro,
then on the 6th, we r heading to nz to meet up with the big sis.
n most importantly, to attend her graduation.
Gosh, Graduation, sounds cool...
I wana graduate asap too=S

stil, i wana pray profusely for my sick grandpa and SAM results.
hope everything turn out unexpectedly good.

After exams, life's stil busy.

since the last day of my exams,
i ve been flying out everywhere..shoppin, eating, singing...non-stop,
til today- a day to take a good rest.
tomoro shud be a 'breaktime' for me too,
but i jus don wana stay at home whole day,
so invited choimei n vc out ( my sis's good frens)

ve been kinda 'promised' the others to meet up with them after exams,
but most of them werent attended to, due to the lack of time.
i first thought i'd ve loads of time in between these period (after-exam & departure date)
who knows, things didn't turn out as I ve expected.
Didn't find the time to meet up with zhuang laoshi,
also terrance whom I should be going to Kbox wif him.
yengfang went to Kuching hence can't meet up with her also.
insisted to meet up with wanyen before i go back,
cos the next time we gona meet is Feb, kinda reli long time away~
Kent also, he came Asia Cafe for about twice, n asked me to go n ve a drink with him,
felt pretty guilty for not meeting him for the past few times although I was having exams at the times he invited me to go out.
